Not the greatest for descaling. I used this on my Baby Brezza washer and it did not do a great job. The machine also still has the descaling error code so I wouldn’t recommend the product. Using the distilled water / vinegar would suffice better! I have this two stars because it helped with leaving residue on pump parts.

The tablet works for descaling, but if you have more build up then it will take a few cycle to get rid of all of it. Vinegar usually does a good job of me, but the smell is unbearable. These tabs solve that problem for me.

Admittedly I didn't get these for the purpose they are labeled for, so decided to offer 5 stars based just on what I could observe. The descale light has been on my coffee machine well past any DIY attempts at a vinegar rinse, so I decided to test out a descaler tablet thinking it could help. I ran several cycles through the pod machine, and found that the tablet had only disintegrated part way. I used the rest with hot water in my coffee carafe and noticed a significant difference. The descale light is still on, but at the same time I think of it as a car warning light; even if the problem is fixed the light hasn't been reset. I can clearly see an effect on the glass, and watched the tablet fizz away in the coffee decanter, so I think that these will serve well in the machine they were intended to clean.

I was hoping the box would include information what the actual ingredients are, but was quite disappointed that it did not provide any information on that. I tried it on a kettle and a steamer with pretty significant mineral deposit buildup. I made sure to use hot water and in both circumstances the tablet fizzed up without issues. I made the mistake of not taking a before photo for the kettle to see how much buildup was removed, but at the end there was still a significant amount and I don't know if this actually removed any at all. For the steamer heating element, there was a very significant buildup previously and it was a noticeable improvement after 1 tablet, but again there was still a good amount left. Like others have said, these tablets may work for periodic maintenance but won't remove enough buildup if you haven't descaled your appliance in a while.

There are no baby bottles to be cleaned in my household. I DO have hard water and a real problem with glasses I use to drink milk from. No matter how many dishwasher cycles I run, there's still a milky film on those drinking glasses and most everything comes out with a white, speckled appearance (see photos). Nothing else has worked and then I saw these descaling tablets. Time for an experiment!The box clearly explains how to use these tablets with a dedicated baby bottle cleaner (see photo). I popped one on the dishwasher compartment usually reserved for a dish cleaning pod and put the usual detergent on the floor of the dishwasher. I ran a high temperature, heavy soil cycle with a steam rinse and heated drying.I focused on 3 materials: glass, plastic and ceramic. Before and after photos show the biggest improvement with the drinking glass I use for milk. The plastic measuring cup showed some too, but the ceramic mug was about the same. Given that I used just one tablet, I think that's pretty good. I might try two next time I wash the dishes.My experiment using one of these tablets in my dishwasher had mixed but promising results. When used as intended in a baby bottle washer, I'm confident they would work even better. Highly recommended.
