My son was a native shorts for summer and these looked long enough and breathable enough for summer. I’m not really sure what this material is as I’ve never felt this before for an athletic short. But I definitely gets a job done for wearing shorts in the summer and the colors are adorable. My son loves wearing the green. The waist is super stretchy and he might be able to get more than one season out of it. The length is just above his knee and he has 3’1” tall.
