This violin bow is absolutely gorgeous. It came very well protected with no issues. Once I adjusted the tension, I played around with it for a while and really like this bow a lot. The abalone is gorgeous and the Fleur De Lis symbol is a beautiful touch! OverLl, very happy with this bow and i think it's a very fair price.

The braided carbon fiber stick is top-notch, the horsehair is resilient, and the leather grip is comfortable. Highly recommend!

The metal wire decoration and Fleur de lis inlay on this bow are stunning. It's not only functional but also visually appealing.

I love the styling of this bow, from the fleur de lis motif on the frog, the gold ferrule and windings that match the red leather. The stick itself is quite thin though solid and straight. The balance point doesn’t show it, but it feels as though the weight distribution is a bit more tip-heavy – which I really like.Unfortunately the frog screw is quite stiff. I’m not a “striaght-stick” player, I like the hair less taut but it took effort to turn the screw to the tension I like. It can also be rough on the index finger skin.Assuming the hair is set properly, tight frog screws can indicate potential stripping. When I get a bow, regardless of condition, I take the screw out and apply a little petroleum jelly to the threads as well as the face of the knob that contacts the stick. The resulting smoothness is always noticeable and sometimes dramatic. In this case it was noticeable but not really where I like it to be. I’ve played with the bow a week, always untightening after use, and I can’t say it’s gotten much better.I’ve replaced the screw and the threaded piece it enters in a number of bows over the years – it’s a fairly simple repair. But it’s kind of a shame in an otherwise quality bow to have to do it straight off.
