These tires are amazing in winter weather. Albany area clowns driving in the snow show that without the right tire you will be friends with the ditches on the Northway. Never driving in the winter without these. Tread wear is good / not great, make sure to move around every 3-5000 miles (periodic rotation like the misses requests). Obviously this review is biased against new tires but even as they age they maintain great control. This review is for the DMV-2, had 5 years of the DMV-1 winter months of service. Worth the money but just have to keep up on the rotation and make sure alignment is in tune otherwise they are susceptible to uneven wear due to the tread compound.

Great tires . Made the world of difference over all seasons in the snow. Smart people use snow tires during the winter . You sacrifice your safety without them . If you live in an area that rarely snows , then keep your all seasons just drive carefully

Price was great! Huge difference in snow and ice-HUGE! We live in a rural area. Not plowed/salted often. Husband is a research geek and loves the quality of these tires. Thank you for saving our wallets!

These had excellent traction on snow/ice whether I was in 4WD or 2WD on my pickup. I feel like maybe the tread wore too fast and now they're getting down to the point where I'm spinning out on dry pavement after only maybe 35K miles or so, but oh well. They did do a good job, just didn't last as long.I mostly drive on wet / rain-slicked streets, but I feel like these saved my life once. A patch of black ice had cars in front and behind me spinning out and doing 180's into the median, but I was able to brake safely and even pull some stuck cars out of the snowy median without chaining up or anything. That impressed me. If I had on my regular all seasons, I'm pretty sure I would have hit that same black ice and spun out as well.

WOW, what awesome tires! I put these on a 2010 Ram 3500 truck and have incredible traction on ice and snow, much better than with studdsd tires! Thanks, Bridgestone!
