My Bose over-ear headphones are my go-to for longer meeting and/or lecture on my laptop. That said, the cord would always get caught in my desk at some point and would drive me crazy. A cable extension was the perforce solution!

Works well and supports really high res formats as well. Used this with my MoonDrop Chu II and they showed all the formats/bitrates/stuff for the audio quality.

As noted in the headline, I needed a new extension cable. The older one seemed sturdier when I first got it than it proved to be. This replacement was not terribly expensive and is just a fabric covered cable without the metallic solidity of the one it replaced, but it hasn't failed yet. Time will tell. (Longevity seems the biggest problem for all of these cables, no one seems to make durable ones anymore! Electronic components have just become more and more fragile and failure prone over the years.) It's very disappointing, but has been the reality for a long while.

While this worked in the sense of both output with a mic and input, it created a ridiculous amount of static interference. Both for what I was hearing as well as the output. Simple touching the female connection created crackly and popping noises. A new machine, new headphones, and new cable should be a simple win. No amount of troubleshooting resolved the issue, so I had to return it. Simple not usable.In case it is helpful, I am using a MacBook Air (M4) with new Apple EarPods headphones.

i wanted to no have to use mirrors on my ebike to monitor what was going on behind me as i rode and opted to get a video monitor with a self contained battery to use as a rear view aid. after many attempts to place the camera where i wanted it, i determined that i needed another 1 1/2 feet of length to put the monitor and the camera where i wanted,,,hence this purchase, which is well made and transmits a crystal clear image. highly recommend.
