Direct fit OEM type replacement. Part was identical to the original that I replaced on my JD L118. Form fit and function were identical. I’m several months into the summer now and zero issues with operation. If you’re looking for a replacement this is it. The price is right and quality is there.

I purchased this product for my L120 Deere. It was a tight fit, but works fine. Back up and mowing in no time.

Bought the mower used and it steered horrible the previous owner replaced the plate and gear and the lower bushing. Well I wanted it to last so I removed the plate from the frame where bushing is...4 bolts then I drilled out the plate to large enough to put a 5/8 Id 1 3/8 Od a wheel barrel bearing then welded the supplied nut where the steering plate is bolted it was egged out causing the an early 2nd steering gear failure. Then took the old bushing and used it on top under the steering wheel there's just a thin plate that was wore out so I drilled it out to press the bushing in after grinding the small ears to make it round. Then the last step was to make sure the alignment toe was good. Before I started it was way toed out. I see lots of bad reviews of the same type of plate going bad quickly but I'm guessing it's caused by the egged out bolt hole or they didn't bother replacing lower bushing. Hope this helps someone I know mine steers better then the factory setup on my l120.
