The rod connetor adapters are made of aluminum alloy, anodized in black, and used to easily connect 15mm rods that feature M12 holes together for extension by just screwing one end to a rod, and the other end to another rod. It is mainly compatible with CAMVATE 15mm aluminum rods.

The first one works great, the other is threaded incorrectly and doesn’t work. It’s looks like it didn’t get finish getting machined so is too fat to fit.

Bought these for use with Smallrig rods. If you are cut by these your're gripping them way too tight. The fact that they are red is great, they standout when things are apart, and they disappear when the rods are assembled.

The good part about these connectors is the spacing. If it gets stuck, you can plier or vice grip it, turn it, and get it loose. Good design. I only wish they provided different color options. I like stuff to match.

Zacuto is always trying to force you to buy extra parts so they can get rich. Like having 15mm rods with female connections and a baseplate ALSO with female connections. How to solve this? You need to pony up $240 to buy 2 15mm rods with male connections. OR you could buy Camvate's extension connector and pay only $5!!! Camvate for the win. They work like a charm.
