Cane creek makes some great products. I bought this because when I replaced my headset bearings I also wanted to swap the top cover and install a new compression ring. Thought this would be great because the compression ring is integrated into the top cover. However, it didn't fit my bike quite right. I have a 2016 stumpjumper fsr and was not compatible. Apparently in doing some research, there are very few options to swap the stock cover with. I did order just the cane creek caressing ring as well and used that with the stock cover and worked great.
