Seems good so far. Could definitely use better installation instructions. A lot of plugs aren't used. Seems a bit flimsy for the price. Android Auto is a bit delayed, sometimes need to forget and pair again.

This product is and has been AWESOME. Now i waited till i was able to really road test this, on a day when i did 6 hours of driving and spent most of the day in the car it really didnt disappoint, but im wondering in the long term how it will run.Out of the box, its pretty amazing, the installation took a total of 18 hours, spread across 4 days, im sure it can be done faster and hope this helps someone save some time. A good 6 hours was probably lost trying things that didnt work, and logically working out how to deal with situations where the instructions just sucked.Getting the old stuff out was pretty fast. My car is a 2006, which did not offer a facotry backup camera, that said, you have to get clever for tapping power and mounting it as there is no camera mount, and theres a quarter inch gap between the reverse light housing and trunk metal (plus i hate the idea of driving screws into my car). So in order to mount it, i used a dollop of JBWeld, to the reverse light housing. (Pictured above) some will laugh, some will say "Hey good idea" remember i drilled nothing in my car to do this no permanent extra holes in anything permanent or expensive. The instructions are a half-baked youtube video on a usb drive, that doesnt really detail mounting it. It does a good job of explaining most of it, but it misses a quite a few things. You will have to run a wire for the reverse cam, the GPS, the antenna, and the usb cable and the front camera (which is cool it comes with both) trigger wire does not seem to trigger, and i have not yet figured out how to set that up, despite following the instructions to the T, which at this point made it seem unnecessary to cut into and tap the pink wire. I used a file to file out a small enough opening on the license plate light housing, to get the wire from the trunk on the camera outside, to inside the trunk. Its a pop in part, its replaceable and better than drilling a hole. Running the wire wasnt too bad once i figured out how to get under the rear seat, seat-back.It delivers on all the features, the radio got louder, but the bass somehow went down, the sound is fine, but somehow it sounds a bit cheaper than it used to. Its a massive upgrade for the car. I mean when you look at a new car for new car features, this effectively adds all the electronic features of a new car to your TL. You would spend over 40k for a new car not as powerful as these TL's and have it not be as feature rich in the infotainment system as this android unit. Wireless Android auto is flawless, and looks amazing on the big screen. Heater controls work great, it took a while to get the menu out of Celsius for the Heater/AC controls. I had to google the settings password "3368" then find another write up on a TL forum. There are NO mounting brackets at all. They dont exist, it is just held in by the trim pieces that go around the stereo and the center console, and if you lose the metal retainer clips pulling those up, you will need to buy more or it will not sit right. I used a couple zip ties to hold the bottom part of the stereo to that little ash-tray area storage compartment piece and it worked will to keep the bottom from moving. It sits well, its an AMAZING unit. the reverse camera doesnt trigger, so you have to launch the "aux" app to get the reverse cam going, i havent found a way to trigger it yet, and i would like guidelines, but maybe im asking for too much. You have enough power to screw yourself, so if you change a setting you can hurt stuff. I accidentally disabled youtube while driving, and since mine is manual it seems to always think im driving and i had to fix this by disabling the "TV" functionality (weird) Its pretty cool to have the music video of everything youre listening to playing in your car, obviously were watching the road not youtube but is nice as background ambience.GPS sensor works for detecting speed, and works, but you will need wifi or a sim card with service to get internet. I hot-spotted my phone, it worked well. Car play works too, but i was more interested in using the features of the device. This device is feature rich, it adds way more functionality and completely modernizes inside the car. I would recommend and in fact i like so much, i would probably buy again. if for some reason I needed to, but i really like the unit. The instructions also dont tell you, plug the red and white wires into one another at the harness side and test before you assume the audio isnt working and its broken in fact hook everything up first test, then double check connections, and finally and only then finally will you actually mount it. The system is precarious, it will fall out, i put a paper towel roll (new) over my gear shifter with the shift knob off so it will fall into something soft. saved my tail a couple time throughout install. In conclusion, installing it was miserable, and i only did it myself cause i i dint want someone else to half-@$$ it. Miserable install, great product, appears to be working quite well.

It being a Chinese radio had me a little worried. It was a gamble but since the car is so old and had bad unit I had to risk it. I have heard stories on some like this that barely work if at all. The radio almost fit well, small issue on the bezel. Looks great other than that.

The only part that didn’t fit or have a place was the main white plug-in for the stereo. The part that was in the tape deck area. Everything else had a place but maybe I need an upgraded adapter. And nothing in the box had an adapter for it

One of the blue plugs will continuously blow a fuse preventing the brake lights from working and draining the battery. Weird, but if you leave it unplugged the car works fine.

There’s a good YouTube video on a step by step install. Takes a little time but it’s definitely worth it. (Just make sure you connect the red and white RCA plugs). Touch screen is smooth and responsive, it makes the car feel new again.
