The LD step was actually inspired by Jeff Carr's wife, Lynn. Hence the name "LD Step" (Lynn's Design). This step will give the user easier access to the vehicle due to the wider and deeper stepping surface which extends further than our other steps. The LD step is available in our three durable finishes, and installation is a cinch with our mounting system.

Carr Steps are very durable! I installed a pair of these on a 2017 f350 xlt Super Crew Cab a few moths ago and i'm very satisfied.I'M 6' AND 250#, IN AND OUT OF MY TRUCK ALL DAY WITHOUT A PROBLEM!A little time consuming on install (2.5-3 hrs) ...but these steps have a clean look and are very sturdy/functional!!

The product quality and design were excellent but it's just too bad the manufacturer didn't actually try to mount them on my truck before sending them off to market.

I have a 2021 Ford F-250 FWD SuperDuty with an extended cab. The truck sits pretty high so I wanted steps to make it easier to get into. These were hard to install (mostly because I had to drill through a weld). Once installed they look good, are very sturdy, and perform very well.

I followed all the directions and watched all the videos. It was rediculos to try to get the step to sit level. Spent a few days fiddling with it then got fed up. Returned and went with another brand that bolted right up and looks great.

I am a bit ocd, and had a little trouble to get them perfectly level after they where tightened up, had to adjust the shims a couple times to make nice and straight. Love them once I had them mounted straight!!

I like the steps. They look good on the vehicle. I don't like that you must drill holes to mount them. I would recommend them to someone who is looking for a single step.
