Item delivered on time and installation directions were very specific and detailed. However do not purchase the chrome because it will tarnish and pit after 1 snow and exposure to the chemicals used to treat the road. The black may not suffer the same issues. The attached picture was after trying to clean them.

I installed these for the rear doors of my Dodge 2500 Quad Cab PU. I have the larger set for my front doors. I have had Carr steps previously and not had any problems. This smaller set initially does have the look of being too small when the larger steps are already mounted on the truck. It took me awhile to get used to the look. I think having all 4 steps the same size would look better, but I was being cheap at the time I ordered these. They are holding up well. A rather heavy friend of mine used the step to get into the back seat and the step held up fine.

After looking for what seemed a really long time, I found these steps to use on my 2011 GMC 4 x 4 pickup. I haul materials in the bed, most of which have to be secured. I am not tall, 5'10", so reaching over the bedside is really a pain in the arm/chest !Thus, the search for bedside steps. Well, I could not find any that were made for the application, so I began looking for what I could make fit, and most importantly, do the job needed. After looking at some tube steps, and they were much more expensive, I settled for this step.Wait, not settled, chose these steps. The warranty is second to none, Lifetime, so I ordered them. They arrived really quickly, looked really great, polished nicely and a nice serrated area for good footing. I set about fabricating some brackets to mount them to the underside of the bed mounting brackets. Making the brackets was a fairly easy task, some cutting and welding to mount them and brace them. I mounted them close to the edge of the wheel well, even though they will get some sandblasting action there, they do function very nicely. I am well pleased with the steps, they function just as designed.I don't understand one of the reviews complaining about the hardware, it was all plated and most of it was Grade 5. You have to be aware that it was designed to be installed with this hardware ! Just because the fasteners are small, does not mean they are not up to the task. I used Grade 5 bolts to mount the brackets to the bed and am well pleased with the "feel" of the step !I would highly recommend these steps for this application.

I replaced my stock steps on my 1999 F350 Crew Cab. They really look sharp! 1999 F350's have a bump in the mounting area, so there is really only one place to mount the steps for the front and rear doors, but the location, although a little further forward than i thought I wanted, worked out well. The steps are well made with all the hardware you need. Installation was quick and easy. I would highly recommend these to anyone. - - Side note: I considered the the Super Hoops, but they would have been TOO big... I am glad I went with this size
