This does not fit a 1997 F150. The holes did not line up to put it on after taking the old one off.Due to pulling my back, I did not try to put it on the truck until after I was outside the return window.

I bought two of these before and they came with the right hardware to fit my van. This last one came with the wrong hardware. But with the purchase of some longer bolts and some spacers it fit great.
