Latch is very difficult which leads to the rest of the functions not properly working, at least not with ease even for an adult.

My grandchildren went absolutely "cRaCkErS" over this toy microwave. They Loved it! This gadget lights up and displays chosen food items on the front panel. A very cool toy. Sturdy and well made. Incredibly pleased.

This is very cute and my 2 and 1/2 year old grandson absolutely loves playing with it. But he gets terribly frustrated because it will not operate if the door isn't shut just so. I constantly have to go over and help him shut the door so it will run. It could use a more substantial latch. I don't think it will last for very long. Note that he is already having trouble the second day playing with it.

I bought this for my granddaughter birthday we live in different states , she was so happy just to disappointed that the latch didn’t work! I didn’t get to exchange it as I ran out of time but very sad! It’s a cute toy but defective

My toddler (almost 3 year old) boy is obsessed with the microwave, so he has really likes this play microwave. It’s the most realistic one I could find. It’s got a turn table that goes round and round, it beeps when done, and you push a button and the door pops open. But still it wasn’t too expensive. We all really are please with it.

My 2 year old loves to play with the microwave, so, I bought this to complement his own play kitchen. He very much enjoys putting play food (or other random items) in and watching them spin around. There is a light that also activates during the "microwaving" process. So far it's pretty sturdy, and he's dropped this thing many many times.The door is a little finicky (doesn't latch that well sometimes) and he has trouble pushing the button to open it so he often needs our help. Would be better if there were a handle that opened it instead for younger users. When he gets older he may wish there were additional functions (timer, time countdown, etc), but at his age he's happy with it as is.

It's a small unit but doesn't seem to matter. She (age 4) loves playing with it. Cute unit. Arrived on time and in good shape. Would buy again.

I got this to use in my special ed classroom when I am teaching kids to use a microwave. I wanted something that I could bring to the table, was realistic, had individual number buttons that made noise when you press them, and had a start button. This met all of those criteria. It makes a realistic noise when you start it indicating to the student that they have started the microwave. My students use it for work and also play. So far it has proven to be very sturdy. My students drop it, kick it, throw it. Still working!
