I had been eyeing one of these of a different brand for awhile. Originally thinking this one had silicone teeth, I purchased this one as the price was decent.Still giving it a shot even though it's all plastic. I do like how curved the teeth are to catch fur. Far as I can tell, no other has the comb this curved. My 2 short-haired cats hated the other brushes I used so tried this one. After a few tries, they no longer walk away immediately. My male cat tolerates it in short periods. My female now just sits there, still unsure, but let's me brush her.I can get a small amount of fur out of each before they are done which is better than none. They shed like crazy all year and hoped this would help lessen hairball.I did try the comb on the cat post and beds. It pulled the fur out of even the little nooks and crannies wonderfully! Granted it wasn't the main intention, I figured if my cats still didn't like brushing I can clean the post and beds. Just have to be careful what material the cat post is made of as the teeth do get stuck easily.I included a pic of the box for a laugh. Some of the translation isn't quite right and a few instructions gave me a chuckle for a pet comb.

Wonky to hold. Love the ends that are not sharp. Removes quite a bit of hair but has to be cleaned on a very regular basis.

My cat has always hated being brushed. She's very petite & has thinner fur so I'm assuming most brushes hurt her (I've tried all kinds) However, with this brush she leans into it & even comes right up on my lap when I pick it up off the table. So happy I can finally brush my cat & avoid ending up with hair everywhere...well at least help a little lol

I bought this to use on my cats face and belly but the tines were too stiff.

I have used many different combs and brushes for my long-haired cats over the years, but this is by far the best. It works really well to get all the loose hair and knots off of them, but is very gentle at the same time. We love it!

We have 3 cats and they are all long haired. Several different combs/brushes have been used with pretty good success but this comb beats the other's hands down. The cats don't run from being combed, they lay down and roll over. And getting the hair out is a snap!! It's like petting your cat unless, of course, your cat has a lot of knots or tangles in which case, you will need to work on first.

My cat LOVES this. I call it our bonding comb. He will sit next to it and meow to be combed. If I ignore him, he will knock if off the counter. Particularly loves his cheeks combed and will grab my hand with both paws when I try to stop. He is a long hair tabby and I do supplement with a furminator once a week.

My 16 year old cat is at 90% loss of kidney function now. Keeping her fluid levels up is key keeping her alive. She was feeling sick from hairballs regularly, each time she vomited losing fluids. Since combing she's had only been 1 small hairball in 2 weeks. Looking better since she loses less fluids. She has never allowed any combs or brushing before. I grip the comb by holding in my palm. My fingers drape over and stroke her as I comb. She was suspicious in the beginning sniffing my fingers repeatedly, but it felt so good, she kept purring as I combed. It pulls up a lot of fur. My little girl loves it. It's helping keep her with me longer so was worth buying. However I later bought Leo's Paw (the original). It has longer slightly softer teeth. It pulled out even more fur then this comb. Both really work well. The Leo just a bit better.
