These are exactly what my daughter needed. Her horse doesn't need a lot of spur but just a little nudge every now and then and these are very humane and perfect.

I’m fairly new to riding—and I ride warmbloods, so wearing a spur is a necessarily. Wearing the wrong spur can be a disaster. Too little spur and nothing happens—too much spur and everything happens—which is why I really like the Centaur roller ball spur. It comes out far enough for my horse to know it’s there, but it’s soft against his side so he’s not surprised by a sharp poke. Having been bucked off by a young horse for wearing a new longer and sharper spur, I’ve gone back to this one. It’s much safer.
