1. Please make sure if the sizes of your crank set is applicable to this cover and make sure if your crank ring has 4 screw holes.


2. The length of the screw is , no need to change, any change will affect the speed change.


3. Please note that this product is only suitable for Shimanos M430 and M590 and M390 guard discs, suitable for chain discs with a maximum of 44 teeth. When installing, it should be noted that when some chain rings leave the factory, there is no thread in the mounting hole, so you need to tapping it yourself.


4. It should be noted that some 590 cranksets do not have four screw holes. This product cannot be installed with this type of crankset. Please confirm carefully before ordering.

The guard is very well made and looks nice. However, I had to trim and deburr the all of the sharp edges. I also had to trim the pedal pocket before I could get it to fit properly. Further, the provided washers for the nuts and screws were oversized and would not fit inside the mounting holes. I had to file the washers and reduce their diameters in order to be able assemble the chain guard properly.
