The leather is good and the whole product is very sturdy. I bought this for a horse who lost her tail and now only has 2 inches of bone left and it stays on.

Cheap dry stiff leather. I’ve oiled it and it’s a little better. There’s a seam on the tail piece that would do some serious damage to your horse. This is not quality tack. I’ve swapped out the tail piece with a quality one and it should work for my trip to the mountains but it is going in the trash after that trip. Disappointed in the quality of leather.

Good quality leather. But the leather under the tail has a seam where it comes together. It rubbed my donkey raw in one trail ride. I purchased some additional fleece and it fixed it.
