Installing this reverse light was a breeze on my 2025 Ranger XP 1000. The connector it plugs into was pre-installed from the factory, so this is truly a Plug-and-Play installation. I just had to mount the bracket to an available hole above the muffler, mount the light in the bracket, uncap the factory installed connector, and plug-in the light. This little led light is extremely bright as well. Now when I select Reverse gear, I can clearly see where I'm going :)Overall a good product and good value.

I was eager to get this backup light installed on our Polaris Ranger 1000 Crew and was incredibly surprised and disappointed to see that there are no mounting holes drilled in the lighting mount where shown on the attached diagram. Obviously this is a manufacturing defect and very frustrating to encounter. My husband was able to clamp the steel piece and drill a hole all the way through the 1.38" steel piece. Drilling the hole allowed him to connect the yoke and move forward with the installation.

I wanted to add a back-up light to my Ranger and this fit the bill perfectly. The installation was easy, just mount it and plug it in.It's very bright and makes backing up in the dark a breeze. While I haven't used the Ranger in deep water, the light has gotten really wet on several occasions and it's still going strong. This is one of the things you would think the manufacture would have included with the Ranger but it's an easy add-on that makes a big difference.

This is "plug and play." No special tools needed. Install with the included brackets, plug it in, and it works, comes on when the side by side is in reverse. Goes off when it is not. Put out bright light that shines quite far. This product is made in China.

Installation was straight forward. If you have the specific plug, it's plug and play. I had to modify the plug and the red wire goes to the positive while the black wire goes to ground. I used the back up lights of the truck and attached to them. The light is nice and bright and it lites up the back of the truck while backing up. It is bright and functions well. I attached it to the hole in my bumper where the hitch goes. It fit well in that spot. It is a great value for the money and I would buy again.

Easy install on 2023 ranger. The connector is already at the back of the machine. The light is of good quality, nice and sturdy. The wire is plenty long enough. There are holes already in that area on the rear frame brace, so no drilling was required. The light is plenty bright enough and blends nicely into the machine so it doesn't look out of place. I was skeptical because the description mentioned something about the light staying on being normal. The light turns on very dim for about 30 seconds after you turn the key off. Once the machine completely powers off all of the electronics the light fully shuts off so no issues there. The mounting bracket is a bit wider than the mounting on the light itself. It is about 1/8" wider than the light. The mounting bolt tightened down fine though and squeezed tight onto the light. So it tightened down solid and I don't believe that it will shake loose. All in all I highly recommend this. I was shocked that Polaris has this connector on the back to use without spending more money to make it work. Truly plug and play, no relays or fuses to install to make it work!
