Product Description

50mA to 100A Current Probe w/ BNC

This industrial grade clip-on probe has a BNC connector for use with an adapter with banana plugs, so it can be used with digital multimeters, for TekMeteri and oscilloscopes. This clip-on current probe can measure currents from 50mA to 100A peak over the frequency range of DC-100KHZ. It has a range of: 100mV/A 10mV/A.

How to Use:

1. Install the battery (this product does not have a battery) to start the current test clamp, and move the switch to the 100mV/A gear.

2. Check that the battery green indicator is on (ON is on, OL is off).

3. Connect the current clamp to the oscilloscope.

4. When the current clamp is closed, but the wire is not clamped. Select the highest sensitivity on the oscilloscope (for example, 1mV/cm, current clamp to select 100mV/A).

5. When the current clamp is closed and there is no conductor, select the highest sensitivity on the oscilloscope and the current clamp (for example: 1mV/cm) and then turn the current clamp zeroing button, the oscilloscope phase is reset, so that the oscilloscope can adapt to what it is doing position).

6. Choose the current clamp and oscilloscope to test the sensitivity

7. Choose the most suitable method for connecting the current clamp to the oscilloscope.

8. The current clamp clamps the current conductor to be measured and starts the measurement.

Attention: The arrows show the direction of current flow from the positive to the negative terminal. The current clamp clamps on the current conductor to be measured and starts the measurement. When measuring, do not over-clamp the conductor with the jaws.
