I have a 1,000 gallon pond and this is the first year I haven't had green water thanks to the UV lights. The pond gets a lot of sun where it's at and no problems this year. Works great.

These bulbs last and do a great job keeping my koi pond crystal clear. I replace it annually as recommended, but haven’t had a failure yet. Good value for the money. I want to add that last years replacement bulb arrived broken, they shipped me another bulb, no questions asked. I use twin 55 watt UV sterilizes in a 10,000 gallon pond. They work great.

I bought these for my Jebao STU Stainless Steel UVC Clarifier, 55W. I seen others complain how difficult it was to change the bulbs and that they broke them.... first off these people must have zero common sense because these were SUPER easy to replace. Just unplug the unit ... the unscrew the side of the UV filter that has a wire attached to it. The cap will screw off and then gently pull the bulbs out a few inches.... now gently pull the bulb away from the wire assembly. Pull the bulb out the rest of the way and discard. Now you will see 4 holes in the wire assembly... take the new bulb out (don’t touch the glass with your hands) and line it up with the 4 holes and slowly push into the wire assembly. Once it’s connected slide the bulb back into the UV and tighten the screw back.... plug it back in and make sure it lights up.... DONE. I just did mine and it took just a few minutes. I’ll update how well these work compared to the original bulbs.

Has been working really well for 2 months! The algae is gone from my pond water, but still on sides and rocks in my 9 x 18 foot pond...although fish and snails nibble on this algae. Wish I had purchased this light years ago. .. I have spent lots of money and unhappily killed koi with over treating with chemicals. I also installed a 36 watt light...my algae was Really bad so don't know if either would have worked on their own.
