I appreciate the looks, quality, single direction valve, the glass vials, and the wood base. I'm less thrilled about the lids as they are plastic covered with a wood laminate(not real wood). unfortunately the the biggest downfall is that the beans get stuck and don't pour freely.1. The funnel is useless, the opening is only big enough to fit 1 bean through at a time.2. The vials have a stepped down neck which is probably 2-3 beans in diameter. First off, the stepped neck forces the the beans to congest at the next forcing the beans to clog. This happens when trying to pour the beans out slowly as well. I find myself having to shake the vial to get the beans out. A serious hindrance to work flow.I'm using very lightly roasted specialty beans so they're smaller in diameter than most medium, dark, and mass produced burnt beans and they still get stuck.I can't give this higher than a 2 star while yes they hold beans and look descent, they also make life harder in that the funnel is useless and the beans get stuck.
