Item did it's job, I was finally able to get my big sleeping bag back into it's storage bag.My only complaint is it was kind of a pain in the butt to thread the tip through the holes, and with a big sleeping bag like mine I had to do it very quickly before the sleeping bag puffed out again after rolling.I ended up having to cut the tip to an angle and burned it to seal it to make it easier for me to thread. Very quick and easy fix for me to do, but I still had to do it to accomplish using the straps in a timely manner.

These work well for keeping sleeping bags rolled up tightly for placing into compression bags.

I did use these on my sleeping bag, but may not have used them properly, however I do like them.

The "strings" to tie the rolled sleeping bags really don't hold very well. Just one of these holds the roll really well so you can stuff it into your compression bag. Now everyone in the family uses them. We think you're supposed to use 2 per sleeping bag but one works just fine!

These straps are really nice and do the job especially for the money. The only thing that I noticed about them was that at the end of the straps the material was hanging off, kinda like when you cut some paracord and the strands start to get messy. It’s an easy fix, just hold a lighter up to it for a couple of seconds to melt the material together so that the strands don’t come apart any further.

This is exactly what I needed for my waxed canvas / wool blanket bedding roll for camping. The two straps hold the roll perfectly. Easy to strap and un-strap. Good price!

For some reason, whenever my kids go camping, their sleeping bags' straps (and the straps on their sleeping pads) seem to vanish! I have purchased several pair of these Coghlan straps as replacements. They are very durable, as I have not had any get damaged. They hold tight when cinched through the buckles, holding the bag or pad tightly rolled. I cut off excess strap material from the ends because they are quite long. I also have not had a kid lose one of these straps yet :)

Used these to secure my laptop to my bedside laptop stand, works well and hold it tight in place. Must have dropped the laptop 20x before buying these from a kick when I was sleeping. Hasn't fallen once yet.

It's just a pair of straps... really nothing to get excited over. The price and free shipping is what did it for me though. The nylon strap itself seems plenty strong, but the buckles shouldn't be used for anything but their intended light duty use. They will certainly break otherwise. Odd thing is that in the package, the straps are held in that circular shape by a pin. Watch out for that.

I found the instructions difficult to follow but managed to tie them in the end. I only needed about 12 inches of strap, to fasten a tripod to my camera bag, and they cut and sealed very easily. I will be ordering another set just to carry in my camera bag for 'just in case'. Very good straps and buckles.
