I use these at home...not camping lol which they're great. Easy to clean and I love how they collapse. The lids fit well and they works great in the microwave so far. I think it's not a bad price. They're made of a silicone and glass.

Such a pretty green and easy to use. They’re also very easy to clean. They’re pretty lightweight, but because it does contain glass, you should be able to bit more careful with it. I’ve dropped it, though, and it didn’t break, so I’m happy about that. I use these to steam and microwave things, which I can then easily store in the fridge or freezer. The lids can be a bit tricky, but fit very well when you get them on. Perfect size for one or two people.

I couldn't believe how well this set was made. I guess I didn't really read the prescription because I didn't even realize that they had glass in the bottom but that's a plus in my opinion. It makes them much more durable and sturdy and easy to travel with. They still fold up flat and can stack inside of or on top of each other and they can hold anything from hot food to cold food. The silicone material made you can put them anywhere and you won't ruin them

I’m thoroughly impressed and eager to acquire more of these versatile containers.Crafted primarily from a sturdy silicone material, these bowls boast a sleek glass lid and bottom with a nice retro design on the glass. The combination of silicone and glass adds strength and rigidity, ensuring durability and longevity. The lid fits snugly into the bowl, creating a tight seal that prevents spills and keeps food fresh.The silicone “partition” mentioned in the product details functions as a strainer or trivet, effectively keeping food off the bottom of the bowl and away from moisture or water. Additionally, the lid features a silicone plug in the center, which can be lifted to allow air or steam to escape. This feature is particularly useful when steaming vegetables in the microwave, as it prevents steam from accumulating inside the bowl.I conducted tests to verify the watertightness of the bowls when the plug is closed. The seller emphasizes that these are for camping, but I primarily find them useful for microwaving frozen veggies, some of the excess moisture goes underneath underneath the trivet ring. I wouldn't buy these just for that purpose, but there are multiple uses, as the manufacturer describes.

This set of 2 collapsible bowls with lids is microwave safe. Each bowl opens to an ample size for cooking or storing food, and the two different sizes are very convenient. They look attractive, don't seem to stain even with foods like tomatoes, and collapse to a small size for storage. They're easy to wash in the dishwasher or by hand, as the insides are smooth and have no folds when fully open.

I got these to quickly steam veggies in the microwave but they can do more than that.There is little silicone pad at the bottom to keep your food out of the liquid so that your food steams. I haven't had a chance to use them yet so I don't know how well they will steam because there isn't much room between the bottom of the bowl and the pad to hold water.These bowls can be used for cooking your food. They can be used to store your food with the air tight lid or you can use them to eat out of.They collapse so they don't take up much room.

I picked these up for a better way to steam veggies in the microwave.You receive two expandable bowls that are safe for use in the fridge, microwave, and dishwasher.Each bowl comes with a tempered glass lid featuring a venting top handle and two side handles. The bottom of the bowl also has tempered glass.The rest of the bowl is made of silicone, which is safe up to 428 degrees.Inside each bowl there is a trivet ring at the bottom. The description suggests that the trivet can be used to hold food or be placed under the bowl. However, it’s too small and not suitable as a strainer. It will, however, work well to hold your veggies out of any water underneath. The trivet is easily removed if not needed and for cleaning.The design advantages continue when it's time to pack this cookware away, as it collapses down quite a bit!The listing suggests using these for camping, which makes a lot of sense if we are talking about camping with an rv. There you likely have a microwave and a refrigerator, and they collapse down so they don't take up space when not in use.However, the tempered glass is heavy. They weigh about 2.8 lbs and have little in the way of practical advantages for cooking over an open flame. Whomever did the marketing for this product did not think this through, and many of the other reviewers took the bait: Why anyone would needlessly take something that heavy on a hike is definitely beyond me!
