This kit, or at least the one I received, does not match the tolerances of the parts they replace. I had to get out my Caliper to check the sizes and found several of the valves; springs; and seals were of different sizes. Although, with the naked eye they appear to be the same, when you reassemble the system, leaks past valves and pressurization becomes a major problem. Then, you will start to question your mechanical ability and prowess, after your hard work fails at every junction.Let me assure you, it’s not you or your ability, but the inadequacies during the machining process to tolerance!I had to do some serious cleaning of the old parts to get my system back up running at optimal performance.When you invest in an expensive machine such as the Appartamento you kinda want it producing an adequate cup of coffee.Because there was so many issues with tolerances in the new kit, after cleaning the old parts; reinstalling them and only using the new valve (in the upper chamber) with the Mushroom Valve, the only one in the kit that was the right fit, all the others were discarded and the old ones reused, and now my system is back up running and producing a decent cup of coffee again.DON’T BUY THIS KIT unless it is absolutely necessary! Clean your old valves and if necessary replace the seals, or else, your system will be inoperable!

The parts in this package are for the E-61 group, however upon taking mine apart they are of different lengths. After doing some online research at wholelattelove (dotcom) and a few others, there are different models. I bought it, tried to install it, and found it wouldn't work. It's now unable to be returned.This all should be noted in the description, hence the three stars.
