I had to grind on this a bit to clear the starter. However once I got this to fit around the nose of the starter it went in super easy.Using a TH350 on the back of a 350 1-piece rear main seal. Larger sized starter.

Update # 2 its been almost 2 weeks since i sent regurn back and no refund, my b**ch is ive tried to communicate with seller and nothing now, no communicado.....so there went the star for customer service for the love of dog, what happened to good products and better customer service....UPDATE: So i decided to return this because it did not fit and was not what you expect, so its been over a week and still no refund, package was sent a week ago via ups.....what gives? The only reason i gave 2 stars was for the customer service, the item itself is not what you would expect. Its made from sheet metal, not a cast metal or mild steel. The finish was nice but not at all what i expected. But customer service was exceptional.

This doesn't fit 700r4 transmission without some modifications. The bolt holes on the upper tabs are way off. You also will need to cut the starter hole larger and trim some metal off to clear the drain pan. Once it's on it looks great.

this part is not for a 700r4 transmission . the size is wrong the bolt holes are not correct the part is wrong .look at your transmission before you buy .

Nicely chromed. It would have been nice if chromed screws were included, but still very nice for the price and I'm never getting under the car to buff it.UPDATE: It ALMOST fits! For some reason it interferes with the 700R4's pan. I have to trim that edge to get it to line up properly.
