Very comfortable wrist pad. I have a full keyboard and keypad by Apple and it fits perfectly. The surface under the pad (that touches the desk) is very nicely sticky so the keyboard and pad don't slide around. All around a solid buy. I am very happy with it in all ways... Quality, Comfort, Design, Durability, value for money.

The beating that wrists take in this modern age cannot be overemphasized; we type more than anyone ever wrote by hand because of the sheer efficiency of the process. Unlike the product of someone that failed the Palmer Method course, the outcome of anyone's typing is always readable. And yet, we hang on to an ancient paradigm for the arrangement of the keys, one deliberately chosen to slow down typing due to the problems that early typewriters had with the crisscrossing of the bars that held the letters. That there are people who type upwards of 80 words per minute seems almost incredible. Typing is also one of the most uncomfortable activities, one of the most unergonomic, of all the things we humans do on a daily basis. This device which is sold as a keyboard stand" goes a long way to correct the problems.I attempt to live as simple and studious a life as possible and comforts are not something that I go out looking for. However, this keyboard stand and wrist rest is something I wish I had purchased long ago. I would prefer to call this a "keyboard cushion" because the entire thing is "soft", not to the point of sinking in it, just soft enough that it cushions the wrists without the wrists sinking into the material mere millimeters, nevertheless, it can only be described by the onomatopoeia aaahhh! because it is that comfortable and ergonomic. Within the limitations of a conventional keyboard --and, oh boy do I wish they made one shaped for ergonomic keyboards-- this is a much better position than I have ever had before. That is, my body is more vertical and my neck is not scrunched over when I am typing. This experience is similar to the chair cushion I am sitting on --that material is somewhat softer-- because the keyboard cushion, like the chair cushion, promotes and facilitates a much better posture. In fact, the chair cushion is somewhat uncomfortable when one is slouching. This keyboard cushion, in my current experience, will not deaden the sound of a keyboard, however, it also does not let the keyboard sink in at all. There are two positions for the keyboard that are intentional and there is the border of the wrist cushion as well. I have found that I prefer the middle position because my arms hang far more relaxed from my shoulders than in the other positions. On the other hand, in the lower position, more of my wrists and palm are supported, consequently, while the distance to the media keys is greater, typing is more of a finger motion at this level than at the others. The surface of the keyboard cushion deserves an individual mention: It feels like a frictionless nylon or polyester fine cloth, however, I am certain that it is very durable. How do I know? I wish I could say that I have owned this keyboard cushion for years, however, I have not. What I can say is that the design would put the edge of the keyboard in a location where it would cause a great deal of friction and the fabric would wear out very quickly. One would expect that in such a case, the design would be changed promptly and this feels like a mature product, one that has seen the development of a design into a very desirable product over time. The entire thing fits in a standard keyboard desk drawer with the keyboard. I do feel that a full mechanical keyboard might be a tight fit and some, the ones that curve upward from the spacebar, might not fit at all. Naturally, that only maters if one tends to close the drawer. The bottom of the keyboard cushion is something like silicone or TPE that, while not "sticky", does hold the cushion perfectly in place. I type a lot, even for people that type, I type a lot and my comfort, while important, is not as important as my health and extending the wellness period of my life. This cushion fits my keyboard drawer in such a way that I still get tactile feedback that the desk is there but my wrists are entirely supported and as straight as possible given a standard keyboard. I urge you, the reader, to get one of these cushions and enjoy a much more ergonomic posture that is also very comfortable for someone to type a lot, like I do.

I recently had an injury to my tendon sheath in my wrist - didn't know that was a thing, but it's painful when inflamed - so I've been looking for ways to reduce stress on my wrist. This was great, my keyboard sets directly on top of that and it has taken a lot of the pressure off my wrist. It's the simplest solution, just slipping this under my keyboard and it has a sticky bottom so it doesn't move around the desk. The only issue I have with it is the amount of space it takes up on the desk, but I'd rather that than the pain in my wrist.

2025/04 — This computer keyboard stand by Keputaier is the REAL deal. The mfr. placed “massage beads” in a row across the line where your wrists rest and they feel GREAT. It’s interesting to note that Keputaier must have taken a que from the medical supply industry — specifically, the makers of those wrist bands that have a bead in them that you place strategically over the tendons and veins in your inner wrists for SEA SICKNESS. If you’ve never tried them you should — they work! I’ve never been sea sick again since. I think the mfr. must have heard about these beads and understands there are things happening with our wrists that go even further than basic carpal tunnel. So the “massage beads” feel ((WONDERFUL)) and they’re why I’m giving the product a good review. Other features are impressive as well: the ability to tilt the keyboard 7º or 13.3º to get the exact comfort level for your hands. Non-slip PU leather underneath helps keep the keyboard stand from shifting. The stand itself is quite heavy! I do think the product is priced too high. That’s my one objection. But overall a great, innovative product I hope the industry pays close attention to. 4 Stars
