This computer monitor light is a game changer! It helps reduce eye strain, especially during late-night sessions, and the adjustable brightness is perfect for any lighting condition. It’s easy to set up, doesn’t take up extra desk space, and adds a nice glow to my workspace. Definitely recommend if you spend long hours in front of the screen.

This monitor lamp is well-built and clamps securely onto the screen, but the angle of the light can't be adjusted down enough. The lowest angle is still up about 30 degrees. So I get a lot of glare in my eyes when I look at the screen.For smaller monitors or laptops, where your line of sight is higher than the monitor, this may not be an issue, but my line of sight is level with the top of my monitor.The cord placement is another challenge. It runs down the back of the monitor, and the power switch only extends a couple of inches below on my 27 inch monitor. That makes it difficult to reach since my monitor is more than an arm's length away on my desk.This light might work better for certain setups, but if your monitor is at or slightly below eye level, be aware that glare could be an issue.

First off, apologies for the very dirty computer screen. I absolve myself as the isn’t my computer but my partner’s ;). As this computer is off in an edge of a room, there is no natural light and only one small ceiling mount pot light for lighting. As the years progressed , this has become more and more of an issue. We did pull in a small table lamp to help with this situation, and while this did help, it was a long way from being totally satisfactory. This computer monitor lamp caught my eye and seemed to be the solution.This came requiring one to simply snap the bar light into the receiving channel of the mount and thread the power supply through the back of the mount. Then removing the film from the sticky pad of the mount and pressing it into the back of the monitor, centring it. The mount has an adjustable arm for the depth of the screen making this very adaptable for various monitor styles. All that is left after plugging it into the hard drive or other UBC supported power supply, is to angle the light as wanted and adjust the colour temperature and intensity.This has provided the perfect solution for this situation. Giving off a customized light, tailored for a computer screen, this also floods the lower desk area with light as well. Not taking up any desk room , no cord to contend with as this is now draped down the back of the monitor along with the inline controls. Having this light being powered through the computer, once set up this light is now coming on automatically when the computer is powered on. Perfect! Love this light!

Pros:Lamp was easy to assemble and setup, the lamp attaches to the monitor clamp and then the wire connects to a USB power source.The in-line control module is within my hands reach and it has plenty of wire length to run from the top of the monitor all the way down to the my computer tower that sits on the floor.The controls are easy to use with power, brightness and colour temperature settings.The lamp head can pointed straight down or angled forward about 45 degrees.I did not notice any distracting glare from the lamp although my monitor does already have a matte screen to help reduce glare.Light output is bright even on the lowest setting and the light dispersion is very wide, my desk is 47" wide and the light shines beyond the edge of my desk.Cons:First criticism is that the wire that runs from the control module up to the lamp is very thin, I estimate it to be only 20 gauge wire and it feels flimsy and tends to kink which will reduce its durability over time.Second criticism is that the monitor clamp has light spring tension and on the inside which has the adhesive pad it has a rounded surface which doesn't grip well to the back of my Acer monitor which has a beveled edge near the top and the clamp does not sit flush so the entire light wiggles back and forth. It would have been better if the inside of the clamp had a flat surface with an adjustable angle to conform to the back of the monitor panel.Lastly the control module buttons doesn't have any LED indicators rather it has a very dim blue light in the center when its plugged in and the symbols are difficult to read.

This monitor lamp is not very long. I can see the lamp length only cover around 2/3 of my 28" monitor width. But it can light up my monitor very well, with no dark corner. I even have enough space to put my webcam.The mount of this lamp on the other hand is very bad. The clip at the front is short. Barely enough to hang on to the monitor. The back side is even worst. The curve is not able to grab on any part of the monitor. It is only because the surface is sticky, the mount can hold the lamp in place. Thanks to the plastic cover that keep the surface clean during shipment. Otherwise, there is no way this lamp can stay on top of my monitor.The light is bright. There are 3 types of color tones I can choose from. I can change the brightness too. That is very good.The good side of this lamp is it is close to the monitor, so there is no glare, reflection from behind my back. But since it is close to the monitor, anything beside the monitor will now reflect on the monitor. So there is not much difference if the lamp is close or far away to the monitor in that sense.However, the good thing about the lamp close to the monitor is the light does not shine directly on my eyes. That is for those who set the chair height correctly. If your sitting position is correctly, the LEDs are shielded from directly shine to your eyes. That is a very good design.

The monitor lamp is nice and bright, you can adjust the warmth of the light...there's 3 options. Brightness of course can also be adjusted. All of that should be standard on any lamp! What I like most about this is the weight on the back, it clips on to the monitor but it's the weighted piece at the back ath keeps it in the right position. If you've ever tried the ones that just have a wedge then you know those shift every time you bump your desk just slightly....or maybe I just have a cheap desk. This one doesn't budge due to the weight! Apologies for the dust....before the lamp I didn't even see all the dust on the monitor!
