I'm very happy with these joist hangers. The powder coated finish seems to be of high quality, which is not a guarantee with hardware like this on Amazon. The included screws are also of respectable quality and I didn't have any issues with stripping during install. Based on the current price, the overall value is so-so but mostly comparable with similar items (and probably cheaper than local hardware store).

I'm putting on a new fence together and reinforcing it with extra 2x6 in each panel and using these brackets with it. Quality seems good, but we will see if it rusts. The black color is awesome as it gives a "pop" in the color. Easy to install and good pricing!

I just built a swing set with monkey bars, a fort etc for my grandkids. I have an area I needed to put some 2x6 joists and I like these black ones as they match all the other brackets I used to build it with. Good quality and should last.

I like these and the powder coating is very heavy. I measured them against the Simpson supports and they are significantly thinner. The screw holes are bigger too which isn't necessarily bad.I did not see any indication that they have passed any engineering standards. I suspect a home inspector might tag them as inadequate. It doesn't mean you shouldn't use these, I would just use them for light-duty work and things that don't need a permit or inspection in the U.S.I can't recommend the product except for applications that are not to be inspected.

These units are nice. Properly sized and well coated. The screws for each side are offset but the pattern isn't great (so one side all towards the back other side towards the front. I have some similar with 3 and they have a better pattern. In theory it shouldn't matter too much as load shouldn't really be on the screws for the joist but current design I might worry about splitting if there was load or some rot that started. The powder coat should make them safe for use with pressure treated lumber directly without isolation tape.Note with concealed joist hangers:You must be able to insert your board from the top. (or only need it on one end). As the screws face the board, there is no option to really slip these around after like a normal hanger. In addition, hidden means the mounting flaps are turns inward rather than outward, that is going to concentrate the load on a smaller part of the wood. As wood things have to be overengineered for potential defects it is important to consider you do lose some distribution of load due to the design. If you have close joists and blocking though that will help distribute the load itself.
