Pretty good ride. Like others have said, at 26,000, I had a flat from normal driving.Of course there are potholes. After many years of driving, never before have I had a tire go completely to zero pressure.

These tires simply are road hazards. From March to June 2016, three, yes three, out of the four tires on my Mercedes E class blow out after hitting potholes. True, hitting the potholes are probably the direct cause, but the potholes were not the worst on the road, and I observed, while waiting in frustration on the roadside, various other cars hit the same holes but drove on just fine. I can only point my finger to the tires as the likely culprit.

This tires came as oem on my new car I gotta say they offer a great and vary quite ride, but their sidewalls are vary thin, less the 800 miles on the car and one of the tires had a ruptured sidewall. as the reviewer above me said, this tires won't withstand even a light road hazzard

A warning to anyone considering Continentals. These tires have seriously thin, vulnerable sidewalls. Our new Feb 2014 Ford Escape came with these and after 15K miles we've had 3 tires with sidewall failures. I researched some reports online and found many similar complaints, so rather than buy a Continental tire to replace our 3rd flat, we spent $1000 and bought four new heavy duty Toyo tires which have a more aggressive tread and have stronger sidewalls. The heavier Toyo tires will result in a slightly lower MPG, (estimated 2% less MPG) but that's a small price to pay to avoid future Continental blowouts. The ContProContacts cannot withstand even a slight curb scrub or pot hole.
