This unit was very easy to install and works perfectly. It fit exactly like the original. It produces ice at the same rate as the previous one did before going bad. I was surprised how well it worked for how low the price was. I would recommend this product to anyone needing this model icemaker.

Just what the doctor ordered. Works like a charm. Turns out that these icemakers are only good for about five years, then they fail like clockwork. Luckily, they're a simple changeout...takes about 5 minutes max and you're good for another five years. Be sure and order the correct on and off ya go!

This was an easy replacement for a Maytag Model# MFF2258VEM5. It was a simple process after watching a YouTube video. Had to reuse the wire harness, the arm sensor, and the end cover.

I am happy overall with the product. It has some scratches from before it was remanufactured but the tephlon coating is new and smooth and my first ice was not filled with dirt or other junk. I didn't use the first three batches of ice but this unit works great. I was worried i had other things wrong with the fridge and it turns out it's mostly OK. On a side note.... my fridge is a maytag mfd2561hes and is from 2005 I think according to label. The keyboard doesn't work so I am unable to actually control the fridge other than unplugging it. The water works fine and now with this part the ice maker works perfectly. I am afraid of buying a new fridge since the new ones seem to break alot more. Overall I am very happy with the seller and glad to have purchased this and now my fridge has more life left. I have an ro system attached to the fridge along with a new filter for the fridge so the ice and water are delicious. Thank you so much!
