Cork and rubber is known to stand up to vibration, shock, and intense pressure while resisting heat, gas, oil, and water. This makes it an excellent material for industrial applications.

I bought two rolls of this tape to cover the joints on a full wall, covered with corkboard panels. The tape is at least three shades darker than your average big box store, corkboard. I decided I could live with it and started installing, except the tape would not self stick to the caulk installed between the cork panels. Since I already use it, and since I have already cut it, I will buy upholstery brads and use them to afffix the tape through the corkboard and into the drywall. I would not recommend this product as a self-stick solution. I should’ve gone with her non-self stick and gotten a bucket of old-fashioned rubber cement.

I'm pretty sure why there are mixed reviews about this product. When I pulled the packing off the first strip I didn't see that the adhesive film came off with it. Likely due to the cork not being a great surface to bond to; possibly the cutting process creates enough cork dust for an iffy bond. Either way, once I figured this out, the film sticks fairly well. My pieces are on the bottom of bed rail pieces so the weight of the platform and mattress will sandwich the cork between the floor and the rail, but I still have to adhere the piece with the lost film with contact adhesive. Not a huge hassle because I have the contact adhesive on hand, but still a hassle.

Just discovered this stuff. I’m using it to create a reveal between casework and a stone counter top. It’s easy to apply and tolerates subtle imperfections. Resists sliding

I used the cork as a handle wrap for a fishing pole rebuild. Very pleased with the results.

Has a nice good stick to it. The only thing I don't like about it is that if you need to reposition it the adhesive will pull away from the cork. So if you need to reposition it, well, you can't without just replacing it. Other than that, it does the job. Just do the job right the first time.

I bought this because thw other cheaper brands had reviews stating that the adhesive adherence was poor. Same is true of this product.

Cork is excellent, but the adhesive is NOT a great bonding agent. I have had to come up with additional bonding agents to keep the cork attached to any area that might receive even the most modest amount of stress.

Very easy to turn anything into a reminder board at pennies. I have one of those 2 tier lazy susan desk containers that hold everything , i just revolve it for what I need while I work. It has a edge between the tiers and I put this stripping ( 2 layers as it is thin) and i am able to pin up notes now. Perfect!
