If your PC fan is running very loud or not functioning then a replacement may be needed.
The fan uses an integrated flex cable to connect to the mainboard. The cable connects via 4-pin connector making it a plug and play replacement module, NO soldering is required, attaches to your existing heatsink.

I have a latitude 5490, and it was simply too big to fit in the computer. The description says it fits a 5490, but it does not.

Even after running the compatibility checker - the fan I received did not fit correctly.Looks very similar but the mounts are off just a tadThe number on the fan I received was one digit off from the old one
