2006 1200 Sportster low. Had coughing, hard starting, backfiring, poor idle and rough running. Replaced carburetor and replaced intake seals with no change. Purchased this Crankshaft Position Sensor after googling symptoms and finding that CPS failure was a common issue.Was easy to replace. The original CPS when removed had a crack in the face of the sensor. After bolting on the new sensor all the problems went went away and the bike has that potato potato idle and revs quickly! This sensor is an exact duplicate of the OEM sensor to include wire length. I will update if this sensor fails. The Original HD sensor failed at 46k miles.

Perfect OEM replacement part that is made well is very sturdy and works as it should. Good price for a replacement part.

This part is made well and works as it should. It looks very similar to the OEM part from 20 years ago. The length is right and the harness fitting is perfect.
