This tool is built with excellent quality and feels durable, making it a reliable choice for both professionals and DIYers. It’s backed by a lifetime warranty, which offers added assurance, especially coming from an American-owned brand that prides itself on reliability. The warranty alone gives great peace of mind, knowing the company stands behind their product. The price per piece is reasonable for the quality you’re getting, but if you plan to buy several pieces outside of a full kit, the cost can quickly become more expensive. For those needing just one tool, it’s a solid investment, but if you’re looking to expand your set, purchasing a kit may be the more economical option.

Crescent really makes heavy duty tools for the professional or contractor. These nippers are solid hardened metal with sharp cutting teeth. The handles are long to give you more leverage to cut through thick materials like chains. These nippers can also be use on tile installations and to cut tile to fit. The handles have a nice rubber over mold. The tool has a black coating to protect it from rust and weathering. I used a little bit of oil on the joints to keep it well maintain. Good tool to have at work or in a workshop for various jobs and projects.

These Crescent Heavy Duty 10" Nippers are great quality. You can't go wrong with the Crescent brand of tools. These are a great size for my needs. I have been building up my tools because I hate to keep asking my husband to go get me a tool. These are great for cutting or even pulling nails. I use them for cutting wire in the garden or for crafts. I highly recommend these nippers. Great addition to your tool box.

I was disappointed with the way this nipper was sharpened. I tried to cut a 1/8in dia. ruffing nail and couldn't using two hands??I went to my tool box and took out a 40 yr old pair of Crescent Crestoloy 7 in nippers and cut the same nail with one hand. I have sharpened the old nippers a few times and they still seem to be hard enough to hold an edge. I will trying to sharpen the new 10in Crescent nippers and see if they will work as well. I shouldn't have to do the sharpening on a new pair. This doesn't say much positive about the quality control. You look at the cutting edge with a magnifying glass and can see flats on the edge??? I know if it's too sharp it will chip. I can sharpen them and make them cut and hold up why can't they???

It is just a basic end nipper that does what it is supposed to do. I used it to nip some ceramic and porcelain tiles. You may pay a lot more for some high end nipper but this one was satisfactory to me, it got the job done.
