The Supernova Dry is one of the best dry snorkels available in the market.
It features several devices that help the diver to do not worry about water entry in the tube.
In fact, it has a unique dry top valve that blocks the water entry, even in rough waters. However, if some water comes inside, it is really easy to expel it, thanks to the purge valve at the bottom. Just blow without effort and the water will exit from the snorkel.
The mask keeper is really easy to use, with a simple click.
- Features a float mechanism which closes instantly to prevent water from entering the snorkel whether accidentally or purposely submerged.
- A special watercollection well, with a large elliptic valve, allows quick and easy expulsion of water.
- The end part has a corrugated piece that is smooth on the inner side and keeps the snorkel away from the mouth during use when scuba diving.
- The replaceable angled mouthpiece and corrugated tube section are both made from Hypoallergenic Silicone adding comfort and function.

Bought this with my Cressi mask. Was disappointed that it was Chinese made (my mask is made in Italy). But it performed fantastically. Very comfortable and no water issues. Love the quick access tab to put on or take off the mask.Very happy with the purchase.

As mentioned by others, airflow through this seems restricted, which is probably more related to the vertical cork/plug valve mechanism of this dry snorkel causing a restriction in airflow when not completely open rather than because of the oval cross section of the snorkel tube. Also, the plug does not completely keep all water out.In general, the dry snorkels that I have used with the flapper valve mechanism work much better - they seal against water getting in better and they don't partly restrict the flow of airThe clip does stay secure on the mask, which was a problem we had with another dry snorkel

Follow up: snorkeled the Bahamas. Even in choppy water it worked perfectly.First time using a dry snorkel, and I love it. I grew up at the beach and used straight snorkels all my life. I was a little concerned about reports of the valve sticking but I give a small exhale when I surface to clear the purge valve and the valve opens everytime. Also I’m a big guy with a large head and it adjusts perfectly. Can’t wait to snorkel in the Bahamas with it.

I am not a pro with that stuff but to me it seems to be very good quality. It is a gift for my husband and I am pretty sure he will like it when he uses it in a week.

Love this dry snorkel! I bought the matching Cressi panoramic mask and this makes one nice snorkel/scuba set! I will be purchasing another for my son! I have a smaller mouth and it fits me pretty good, I do have to get a good seal on it though.

Best snorkel I've had in years. It fits on the left side of my mask which is the first time I've had it on that side but loved it. Flexible enough and great for diving down several feet.

Great snorkel! Worked perfectly on our honeymoon--and we snorkeled a LOT. It even kept the water out in pretty choppy conditions. Look forward to using it on future trips as well. Really pleased with the purchase!

Comfortable in the mouth. I was skeptical about the dry feature, but it works! I did not try it deaper than 4 feet. The clip is quick release (the ring around the snorkel and the clip detach from one another) which is really pratical when using the mask without snorkel or to store mask and snorkel. Got this for a great price and it look really good too so perfect for me!

This is an excellent snorkel. Used on trip to Florida this year. I loved it, no water back much easier to dive for shells and worked very well in the ocean. Mouth piece best ever. I am a senior swimmer by the way- 66!
