Your cart is empty.The Start Pro 2.0 is the ideal BCD (buoyancy compensator device) for beginners and dive centers where the jackets are often inflated to their maximum capacity. Compare to the Start this model features the integrated weight pockets, a must-have in case of danger for a quick ascent to the surface. Thanks to the rugged quick-release buckles it is easier to release the weight and lighten up the equipment. It has also 2 more 32mm D-rings above the pockets. The size is clearly visible on the shoulder strap. Made in resistance 1000 Denier Cordura (outside panel) and 500 Denier (inside layer). The Denier Nylon Cordura is more resistant to erosion caused by long-term friction and extends the duration of the weldings, as it is harder than Nylon. The waist strap is independent of the air bladder. The strap can be tightened while the jacket is deflated without squeezing the diver's stomach when the jacket is inflated. Inflator with a double air filtration system; under the hose connection stem and around the valve. The inflator can easily be rinsed to remove sand and other debris. The backplate system is made by ultra-durable thermoplastic truly small and compact for lightness. A rubber damper help grips the tank, a second tank strap can be added. A nylon locator strap is included to ensure proper tank positioning every time. 3 exhaust valves for buoyancy adjustment in any position. 2 large pockets cargo pockets with Velcro closure. On top of each pocket, there is a compartment for hold the pressure gauge and the octopus. Extraordinary lift capacity ratio thanks to its new pattern and the separators installed inside the bag: XS: 13.3 kg | S: 14.3 kg | M: 15.3 kg | L: 17.3 kg | XL 20.4 kg. This is the BCD I learned on doing my open water certification, so I bought it for myself to get comfortable. I am specifically writing this review to refute the other review about weights falling out. I've NEVER had an issue with the weights falling out. I generally use 3 and 4 lb weights, so maybe it's possible for a tiny 1 lb trim weight to fall out, though I see that as highly unlikely as well. I think this is a great starter BCD. Maybe once I get 100+ dives in I'll fine tune exactly what I want in a perfect BCD, but I'm now 40 dives in, have used this BCD for every dive, and have no issues.

Long story short….the design of the integrated weight system is dangerous for bag weights. The weights can slip out even with tightening the straps as far as they can be.Had several divers witness and verify this occurrence after my uncontrolled ascent. Product should not be on market.
