I LOVE the concept of a layout cartridge and bought this as a way to make quick and easy scrapbook pages. The problem is that all the images come separate and you have to look up the layout online if you don't have the booklet and then locate each individual element and put them together and size them yourself. I bought this thinking that the layout would be together like it shows in the picture, just like the Family Album cartridge.

I love the images I got with this cartridge. It was really easy and quick to connect it to my Mini. I use this cartridge for any layout - not only for kid' ones. I liked the booklet that comes with it because I use the layouts in it as an inspiration.

Because these designs create a whole page layout, it is easy to make an album using coordinated pages to cover the first few (or as many as you want) years.

I wanted to try the layouts as depicted. They are cute and easy enough to do. The sizes to cut each component to do a layout are all printed in the handbook. I don't mind, but I don't prefer having to constantly change the dial size & check the handbook for each cut. I prefer the CTMH Artbooking cartridge, it is easier to use since I just set the dial size & all the coordinating cuts are sized to match.

The number of individual images in this cartridge is amazing -all of them on trend right now. I love that they give you ideas for layouts. You can create an entire scrapbook without any thought (but where's the fun in that?!?). I've used this for cards and home decor. This will be one of my most used cartridges for sure.

Time has prevented me from using this cartridge as yet, but I can't wait to do so. Have so many ideas. I trust the quality of Cricut products and am sure this will also be a "go to" cartridge as my wee grand child grows.
