Took hours to assemble and when finally finished metal rod to attach bags was too short to reach holes. Plus for such a large hamper bags are ridiculously tiny. Junk!! Waste of time!!!

This is a nice piece of furniture. It seams very sturdy. I had no problem putting it together. Just take your time and don’t rush. I agree with another reviewer that the bottom piece is the hardest to figure out when assembling. The right/left & front/back is not indicated on anything so that makes it a little harder and the hole pattern is hard to see in the diagram. Also when putting the two drawer/cubby sections together it’s a bit tricky. The pieces are the same but you assemble them as mirror images so that one ends up being the right side and the other the left. At the very end you will be putting the two brown colored dowels in the extra hole which acts as a stopper to keep the cubbies from falling all the way out. (That way it can rest in the open position while you take your laundry out etc). So you will want to make sure that extra hole is at the top and in the back (far right side and far left side is the way I did mine). Hope that makes sense. Anyway all the holes lined up just fine for me. Sometimes it appeared they wouldn’t but I think it was just because my first piece that I attached wasn’t quite squared up. Once I moved the angle a smidge and attached the additional pieces it was A-okay. There is a spot (the sides of the cubbies) where they don’t end up being flush with the other piece (by about an 8th or 16th of an inch, but since both sides were the same and everything was square, I believe that is how it is supposed to be. There is no bottom to the cubbies (so the bags just hang - which is probably good for air circulation) so it doesn’t end up mattering that those pieces aren’t completely flush. Now I just need to work on re-sewing the bags so they are full length. No idea why they are so short. I guess if you don’t want to bend down too far and only wash very small loads they are perfect. ;) Anyway I love it and am happy with my purchase. I’m going to also wax it since it with be in my bathroom. The finish is does not look too waterproof.

This is a beautiful, sturdy piece of furniture that looks expensive and matches my very expensive bedroom furniture. It holds a lot (with a slight modification). It doesn’t take up much space, but has really helped with my organization. I simply raised the internal “boxes” 3.25-3.5 inches and used cavas bags I already had from another hamper system. The tiny, short hamper bags supplied with this are laughable. From reviews, I expected this. If you can sew, make new ones. It’s worth it. I’m using the supplied bags elsewhere.I’m not a fan of self assembled furniture and it does take a bit of time to assemble, but it was exactly what I was looking for and I couldn’t find anything comparable.Despite the bags and the assembly required, I’m still very happy with the price and this product.

Where to begin…I’ll start with as big as this looks, and the dimensions are, there’s not actually a lot of space for laundry. Next, my husband (who literally builds things for a living) had trouble putting this together. It turned out either holes were not made in the correct place, or at all, making assembly confusing and difficult. Next, no where in the directions does it explain to you that where this latches in at the bottom has a spring mechanism so that when you push it in it goes in so that you can get the drawer into its cavity. And once the side is in, it is in. You can’t get it back out. Make sure you have your dowel in before you try to get the drawer in otherwise there’s no way to do it.To make this functional we’re either going to have to unassemble it and put a bottom in the drawers so that we can just throw laundry in that way, or create a new inner lining bag that is actually big enough to fill the space, and take a real family’s laundry. If this was meant for a doll house, maybe it would work. That’s how little laundry will fit in the bags inside this thing. If you have a family of one adult and one small child or more this isn’t for you.My picture shows how little this holds. This about 2-3 days worth of laundry for children 4-10 months. It’s over half filled. It’s a joke.

The hamper came damaged and looked as though it had been opened. The hamper compartments are also very small. It is sturdy but we are going to have to use it for the kids. It would not be suitable for adults. Not worth the money

Very well made and is very rich looking. Only note: cloth baskets inside are small. Well made but wish they'd made them larger inside. But love it.

It not only works as a clothing hamper but I can put the clean folded clothes on it as I take them out of the dryer. It is a beautiful piece of furniture also. It’s capacity is not the greatest but I wash all the time anyway and it works perfect for me.

This product is very good quality!!! I should have read the measurements before purchasing, I don’t think it’s worth the money. The “hamper” probably holds 1/8 a load of wash. Everything was simple to read and put together but somehow the doors are not even on mine when I put them together and my doors started coming apart (larger screws would resolve this). The photos I attached have only one article of clothing in each bag!!!!

So after reading reviews I decided to buy. I inspected all pieces and they were beautiful with no flaws (one of the biggest complaints was that the pieces were broken, I think that is just bad luck). It was fairly easy to put together but once I was done i notice the huge gap from the top to where you set the bag in. So I decided to move the 3 sides on the hamper piece up on the front piece, because there is no bottom to this part, there shouldn't be any issues. So I moved it up 2 9/16" toward the top so it still has plenty of clearance but it allows for a bigger bag that fits more laundry (second picture). Now for the most comical part of this piece of furniture is the laundry bag. Its roughly the size of a plastic grocery bag! (See third picture, it is shown next to my old laundry hamper for reference!) I dont know anyone who has that little laundry! I did read this in the reviews but as I am an avid sewer, I just figured I would make new bags myself which I plan to do ASAP. Beyond that, it seems solid and matched the rest of the furniture in my bedroom and makes for a nice table by my reading chair! So, because of the size on the laundry bags (smh) I took off 1 star.
