I purchased a different one a few days ago, but it was a flimsy piece of junk.I bought this one for a few bucks more, and the difference is remarkably better. Took all of 20 seconds to release the slides and remove the ECM.

The tool does as it’s supposed to. That being said, the edges are sharp and rough. It WILL scratch the ecm and tcm on its way in and out. A few minutes with a wire wheel or file would make this tool perfect

The tool is simple to use once you know how to extract the computer on the Volvo cars, I used it successfully on the S60 and XC90 P2 Volvos, the unit I received was a little "wide" and didn't got into the space to extract the computer at first, so I have to push a bit on the sides on the tool in order to make it "narrower", it took just a bit of force and about 15 seconds, so not a major issue. To use the tool, it gets inserted almost at a 45 degree angle and then you need to "flip" or push it to 90°, that movement will allow you to extract the tool and at the same time it will dislodge the units so you can extract them, for installing the computer units you reverse the process (at 90° first and push it to 45° degrees).
