No reason why this tool wound bend unless it was misused. Once the front tires are off the ground, there should be a small and manageable amount of tension on the torsion bars. If you try to use this tool with the tires on the ground (torsion bars loaded with truck's weight), then you're using the tool improperly and dangerously.
