It was not so easy to install because first I had to remove the bar that was on the bike. Fortunately, my handy neighbor had the proper tools and experience to do it. It was not so easy to remove, because of various attachments, but it was not unreasonable. The classic bag I got fit on it very well.I had to make sure that it would fit the model of my Vespa. The names of the models have changed over the years, so this took some phone calls and work. But the rack does fit perfectly. That is the most important thing. Just do not underestimate what is involved to remove the bar that comes with the bike.

I purchased this product and within a week of installation, rust began to form around the welds. For an accessory that is meant to be outside, it does not weather well.As for the cargo function, the rack is sturdy and does the job well.

Came faster than quoted and is of quality construction. It did not come with hardware and it is not a problem at all, it is designed to install exactly as the original passenger bar is with the same hardware. It was very easy to install and took me about 20 min. start to finish. looks great and is very sturdy. I currently have a wooden box attached to mine and do often carry around 50lbs of stuff in it and it does not flinch.Over all great buy I am very happy with it.

Goes on easy and fits great and even includes longer screws to you can keep your platic Vespa chrome above the tail light. Solit as a rock... works well with bungee netting or milk cartons...adding a Shad case myseld which will install perfectly.on the LX150.

I purchased this rack for my Vespa S, the S model is very similar to the LX model.Installation:Mounting hardware is not included but may be had at your local hardware store for $3 or less.No drilling is required.The rack has 4 attachment points...The two rear mounts may be attached after first removing the "Vespa S" emblem from the back of the scoot (only the Vespa S requires you to remove an emblem, not the LX model) which will reveal 2 threaded holes.The two front mounts may be accessed by removing the pet carrier, battery cover and black plastic trim to gain access to the holes.The rack is made of very nice quality, I didn't want/need a folding rack as I intended to always either have my milk crate or top case attached. My passenger really likes the grab handles this rack provides for secure riding.Nice product from the seller and Amazon.

I bought this rear rack for my 2009 LX150 vespa. It was pretty easy to install and the weight and quality of the rack itself is good. I needed to add a 3rd party box to the back so this worked out great. I used all the hardware that was used on my original rack except for the piece at the back above the taillight. I had to use a longer screw to get the vespa cover back on. Totally recommend.
