It definitely works, I measured about +0.8F from input to output. Some very nice design touches that as an engineer I love seeing. I would give 5 stars if it had an extra 6' or 10' of hose. Such a simple addition would make installation MUCH easier.

We’ve had this thing running in line with our pump for two years. It seems to have very little effect on the temperature of the water in the pool. I would say useless.

I hook this up yesterday and noticed an obvious difference in the output temperature of the water after it was in the sun for a couple hours. So it does seem to work. Unfortunately the build quality seems questionable. Notably the legs. They're made from thin cheap aluminum, one snapped on me just trying to adjust the unit to make sure it was facing the sun a little bit better. Now I have a unit that won't even stand up. Fit fine on our intex hoses but again I'd be incredibly careful since the legs are so incredibly fragile. For the price it's kind of disappointing the device isn't more robust.

Much better made than previous heating panels I have had. See.s to be working very well. Had to actually turn it off because the pool was too warm.Great product. I'm glad we got it.

Wasn’t looking for much but this is a complete waste of money. Even in the 80s with direct sun the in/out lines feel about the same with no noticeable change. Can’t run the pump at night cause it it makes it the pool cooler. Would have to put in a bypass valve. Which isn’t included. Pretty much the same temps as using a cover. More money, more set up and nothing to gain. I highly don’t recommend this product.

Easy to install. Does not put any extra pressure on the system amd works great. I only get 4 good hours in the sun because of all the trees. My pool has been running a lovely temp of 82 for the last 3 sunny days. It's perfect. Highly recommend. Just for size reference the pool is 18 foot round 52 inches high.

Affordable price comparing to other similar products. It takes awhile to setup the solar panel, but every step is solid clear on the user manual. Just follow the steps and it will work.

The installation was easy and it doen't request a lots of constractions. The night of bay area are freaking cold, I ready need this heater to make my pool a liiter warmer
