Cute but...These pot holders are trimmed in a plastic coating. They did not hold up high temperatures. I bought these pot holders to take my sourdough bread in a cast iron dutch oven out of the oven and the black trim on the pot holders literally melted onto the dutch oven leaving a black smudge that does not come off. My four beautiful expensive dutch ovens are now permanently scarred from these cheap pot holders. Quality is subpar.

It is possible to get burned with these. They get too hot when you hold a oven heated pan for more than 30 seconds

These are a little bigger then I’d like but that’s just me. I don’t use oven mitts because they are too bulky but these hot ads are fine.

... the first time I used it. The heat went right through the shiny side, felt like no protection at all. I love the starfish design, that's why I bought them, but they don't do what they're meant for.
