This is my first GPS bike computer. I have experience with both wired and wireless models, but GPS is a whole new level for me. The CYCPLUS GPS Bike computer came well packaged in a box with a plastic tray, with the computer, an 8 inch usb-c charging cable, three black mounting bands, a spoke sensor housing, and the CYCPLUS user manual. As I was more used to old style computers, I mislead myself into thinking I needed to input wheel/tire size, and looked it up for my tires/bike. Not needed for my uses. No sensor needed for the spoke housing and none provided. So only needed setup is three items: time zone (C4 function on screen) for the clock. GPS will pick up Universal Time, so just adjust to your local time from UT. Then set Speed Unit to Mph (C5 function on screen) for US, and set Temperature Unit to Fahrenheit (C6 function on screen) if appropriate. That's it, and you are good to go!The manual is usable and not the worst I have seen. I got through it fairly easily. The display size is great, the information provided is very good. Only three buttons, so easy to use. After I got it set up, I needed to drive a 100 miles, and back, so took the unit with me just to see if it would work in my van. Works GREAT! Used it to check my speedometer and mileage, recorded trip time of course, everything I would typically want from a bike computer and so much more. I am very happy with this rechargeable GPS bike computer and can recommend it as a very fine computer and good value for the money.

I picked this up for my second bike, which I ride occasionally when I feel like hitting the trails. I didn’t want to spend another $250 on a Garmin Edge 540 like I have on my daily rider. It wouldn’t be fair to compare this directly to the Garmin, since it’s not meant to outclass it in any category. That said, this is still a solid five-star product, and here’s why.First, yes, the display is monochrome. That might be a turn-off for some, but it actually works in its favor. It sips battery compared to a color LCD, it’s extremely easy to read in direct sunlight, and the backlight works well at night without being overly bright or distracting.Second, the GPS is accurate and locks on surprisingly fast. In fact, there were a few rides where it locked on quicker than my Garmin, which caught me off guard in a good way.Third, it’s compatible with any ANT+ devices. I had zero issues pairing a cadence sensor from another brand, and it worked flawlessly.Fourth, the app is basic but functional. It didn’t demand a ton of permissions on my phone, just the ability to find nearby devices. It connected instantly. Quick tip—don’t bother scanning the QR code in the manual. It points to an outdated APK that doesn’t even list this model. Just grab the app directly from the Play Store and you’re good to go. You can pair sensors and change units of measurement straight from the app.In the box, you get a short USB cable and three mounting bands. Not sure why it’s three, since two or four would have made more sense, but it is what it is. The manual says to mount it flat to the ground, but my trail bike didn’t have a good spot for that. I mounted it differently and it still worked just fine. For fifty bucks, you’re getting a lot more than just a basic entry-level bike computer. This thing delivers about ninety percent of what a Garmin offers at a fraction of the price. For someone riding on trails this is the best option because if you wreck and this breaks you are only out $50.

Live mapping with gps through the app. In my photo I rode the same path back and forth so it’s doubled up basically. That’s why it shows as a singular line most of the path.Easy install and set up. Packed with many features and aftermarket compatibility for other devices for even more data readings. But for me as a beginner this is exactly what I wanted. A simple yet advanced cpu. Best for me is the app, it tracks all your recorded data in a calendar to show when and when you haven’t rode !! Shows things like top speed, biggest accent for hills and stuff, average speed after your done, all very helpful and easy to read. All the data is very accurate. In my photo it’s in km because I started my journey before changing to mph. But now that it’s fixed everything reads as it should for usa format.Thru the app you can customize what shows up on the screen for your own personal preferences too.Really can’t say enough about this. I’m pleasantly surprised and can fully recommend to anyone.I hope this helps. Ride on

This item is junk! Locks up every time it's used. Must take the battery out to get it unlocked.

The CYCPLUS Bike Computer GPS Wireless, ANT+ Cycling Computer GPS with Bluetooth, 2.8" LCD Screen,100+ Hours Battery Endurance Bike Speedometer with Auto Backlight arrived quickly and well packaged. It does a lot but does not provide a map or any type of mapping features beyond accent, gradient, and altitude. When I received it and realized "no map" I rushed back to the description thinking I had been hoodwinked. Alas they did not claim anything they didn't deliver. However they mention in text and phots "GPS" more than 7 times.Evidently they means something different to them than me. Just a reminder to read, re read and re order anything online.
