This bow is worth every penny. It helps me play faster, more smoothly, and more elegantly. I have been playing the 4-string violin and 5-string fiddle for 32 years in many styles, and I currently own 5 bows and this is by far my favorite one. If you can afford it, buy it.

It has a good sound quality on violins at different price and quality levels and comes close to matching or in some cases does match the sound quality of more expensive bows.

Arrived on time. I was really skeptical about spending this much on a bow, but I get it now. The bow is the key good sound. I was surprised at even how much different this medium-priced bow sounds on my violin. So much better! When it first arrived, there was an issue with the hairs so I returned it. DZ Strad was so great about it. They spoke to me on the phone and shipped a new one immediately. Excellent customer service and I am very pleased with the bow. It is truly beautiful.

My daughter had eight bows in the past six years, and four of them I bought from Amazon. She had never been satisfied with those bows until she got this D Z Strad model last September. There is no doubt that this one is the best! Because even a layman like me can hear the difference when she plays her favorite pieces with this bow. She concludes that playing with this bow makes her music sound more smooth and mature than other bows. Due to its strong and quality hairs, the bow makes it easier for her to master bowing techniques and develop better skills. She once was struggling with an ABRSM piece for quite long time, and she told me she could have played it a lot better (and of course scored much higher) during the exam had she used this bow instead. Even her teacher is very impressed by this bow producing beautiful tones and a consistent sound. Now she is confidently trying more challenging music pieces.Also I'd like to mention that their customer service is great. They attended to my concern promptly. Thank you!

Beautiful handcrafted violin bow.The bow is perfectly straight.Im playing with the bow for a few days and can say that the weight is balanced and the bow can respond easily for all types of bowing.I’ll update this comment within a few month of playing.Thank you d z strad!Great price-value.
