I fish a lot and this reel is a true gem. Backlashing control is well above reels costing hundreds of dollars more. Great for either mono line of braided. Very Very smooth action and won't tire your hand after a long day of fishing. I've purchased several and wouldn't trade for any other reel.

This reel is awesome. Love the feeling (other than maybe the cast button) but overall very happy with the build quality for the price.

This reel is top tier for sure. The casting distance is next level if you take the time to set it up. The reel is very smooth casting and retrieving

This reel impressed so much buy how easy it was setup and how solid it felt I paired it with a 6'6 abu Garcia veritas and this quickly turned into one of my favorite combos

This reel is one of my favorites. Will likely buy another in the future. I have this and a shimano slx xt, both are amazing reels, I might like this one a little more than the shimano. Will more than likely buy both again

I've got 5 of these Daiwa Tatula CT's in all 3 different speeds (6.3.1, 7.3.1, and 8.1.1), for for the money I haven't found a better reel. Super smooth casting and the T-Wing system results in great casting distance and smooth retrieve. These Daiwa Tatula CT's palm great even in my medium sized hands.If you are looking for a high quality reel in this price range...I don't think you will be disappointed in picking one of these up.
