I measured the temp at the metal and it was way off. Be sure to calibrate before use. The dial is hard to see the setting for numbers in-between so there’s a lot of guesswork with the temp. It also fluctuates because the heating element switches on and off. I love the green color but that’s about it. Returning it for the temp problems and getting a Star brand wax iron. Saving a few bucks is not worth it. Stick with Europe or USA made stuff for snowsports. Learned my lesson again.

No need to wait in a que to have your board waxed and tuned. This kit from DaKine has everything. The iron is lightweight and heats quickly. Small design allows for easy use and full coverage. The cord could be a bit longer but easily workable. No hesitation recommending this iron for home tuning

I used the iron a couple times to wax my snowboard, and it works great. It gets fast to the temperature (and relatively stable) during the whole process. I liked. The iron worked really well and I recommend it. The price is good and it's reliable.
