They aren't flexible enough compared to the general run of the Mill auto parts store and you're better off just buying the 3/Bondo brand the pink ones. For the price is great in a pinch for bodywork I would not purchase again.. woodworking , sure! If you don't know the difference between automotive refinishing and exterior home refinishing, you won't understand. They are durable and easily cleanable.. Almost seem to melt when I went to clean them with acetone

Too stiff and brittle for my liking/ preference, they break if you flex them, so do NOT do that.

These plastic spreaders are rigid with minimal flex. They work great when used to spread liquid flashing along any substrate, such as shown in the attached photos where Prosoco flashing is applied at the joint between concrete foundation and metal base angle (e.g. sill plate). In this scenario, the spreader needs to be stiff, as you're spreading a thick caulk-like substance to a smooth 15 - 30+ mils thickness along concrete, metal, wood or other hard surfaces.If you're looking for a soft, flexible spreader, more like rubber or silicon than rigid plastic, find a different product. Negative reviews not applicable, as the vendor doesn't describe this product as soft.If you're looking for a durable little plastic fin that can be used in a variety of applications, and low-cost to be disposable if needed, look no further and buy this! Depending on what materials you're working with, you may get a lot of use out of these. The liquid flashing products I'm working (Huber Zip Flash and Prosoco Fast Flash, etc.) are simple to clean-up with a paper towel wiping the plastic clean, allowing these spreaders to be re-used again and again.

Be aware that the spreaders are a bit stiff. This is not always a bad thing depending on the area that's being repaired. It can be a bit more challenging in curved areas.

$11 wasted. I was excited to get a set of large sized filler/bondo spreaders for use on large areas of filler application. Used one and when finished began cleaning as I've dome with every spreader I've used over past 30 years.Tried to wipe it down with simple lacquer thinner and this piece of garbage spreader literally started melting on the surface areas. The plastic reacted to the solvent and the solvent ate away and ruined the spreader. These are on no use for automotive applications where you'll need to wipe or clean them with solvents like lacquer thinner. I didn't test but I assume they will do the same if wiped down with acetone.Also they are very stiff with little or no flexibility which is not good - I could of lived with this had they not melted when being cleaned with solvent.Don't waste you money. I would of returned the remainder of the spreaders I now can't or won't waste my time using but for the cost of return postage and hassle of shipping it's not worth it so I'm just out $11 for something that won't do the job it's advertised to do.

great product but, very still so only straight/flat application. also when cleaning with lacquer thinner kinda melts the plastic, but does not effect the integrity of plastic

They are hard not flexible don't spread anything. Not even flat so you can't make anything level
