It's so so only works occasionally. Most of the time I have to use my old reliablr tweezers to remove ticks from my dogs

Ok, so ticks have become more prevalent in NYS in recent years and I know some people who have found ticks on themselves after going on hikes upstate! So when my friend proposed bringing her dog along for a hike north of the city, I thought it would be a good idea to order one of these, just in case. And I'm glad I did, because when we got back, we actually found a tick! This tool made it really easy to remove it--just hook and twist! Great product, we'll be bringing it along for every hike.

I got this tick remover two years ago; I didn't realize what a game changer it was until I lost it at the end of last summer—it works just so well. Even though my dog's treated, he always picks up some ticks when we go backpacking. This tool scrapes them up without hassle, and it also gets any eggs and larval ticks that may be hiding underneath a bigger tick—regular tweezers won't do this, and your dog can end up with a nasty infection. This thing is a must-have if you like taking your dog on outdoor adventures. Great stocking stuffer considering the price too.
