It works well, light weight, and easy to fix if the ink runs out or it needs to be recalibrated. The recalibration sheets are touchy, but they're cheap to replace.

We use this exact machine at my school. It rarely functions properly. Constant error messages -- "ID Number Error." Constantly requiring "recalibration." Always misreads answer keys -- for example, a recent 11 question answer key was misread four times. The machine read it as 12, 13, 14, and 15 questions on four separate passes. And that's when I was able to get the machine to accept it. And it often provides incorrect scores on forms.Hand scoring is more efficient and more accurate than this machine.Save yourself time and maintain your sanity by tossing this machine out a window ASAP. You'll receive great satisfaction watching it plummet to its demise.Rating for this machine 0/10.

We received our DataLink 600 so quickly! There was no set-up required at all! I plugged it in, it lit up, I inserted a master test w answer sheet followed by 2 scantron test sheets and it did everything perfectly! Did not even have to look at any instructions, LOVE!
